About the Senior Product Supply Chain Engineer Role
The Senior Product Supply Chain Engineer (internally known as Senior Product Sourcing Engineer) drives strategic supply network development and cost management for product hardware across its lifecycle. You will work closely with supplier partners and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
What You'll Do
- Conduct supplier selection using an approved list and ensure rapid product development.
- Partner with suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, joint design, and simulation of designs.
- Drive BOM development in collaboration with Quality & Manufacturing to ramp production.
- Manage CAPEX during NPI and execute value-stream mapping for supply network optimization.
- Lead cost engineering to align bottoms-up cost curve with TCO and manage ad-hoc cost issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, with 5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronic/mechanical devices.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree, deeper experience in electronics/mechanical design, advanced sourcing, early supplier engagement, and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
Compensation & Benefits
