The Flight Experience Manager plays a critical role within the Estate Management Team, delivering an elevated, seamless, and highly personalized travel experience for the principals and their guests. This position requires a proactive, discreet, and service-driven professional who excels in high-pressure environments and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organization. The ideal candidate is a confident problem solver with exemplary communication skills, able to collaborate effectively within a team while also operating independently with precision and professionalism. This position offers the opportunity to travel 25–30 trips per year across Canada, the United States, and international destinations, including the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. From iconic global cities like New York, London, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona, to exclusive leisure destinations around the world, every trip is an opportunity to curate a tailored and elevated onboard experience.Responsibilities
Pre-Trip
- Assist in the planning and preparation of private aircraft travel.
- Trip Preparation and Packing: Partner with various members of the Estate Management Team and the aircraft management company to prepare and pack for trips.
- Catering: Order and upload all catering in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Inventory Management: Ensure the aircraft is stocked according to the In-Flight Service manual, in collaboration with the Estate Management team.
- Procurement: Source and acquire specialty items (food, magazines, products, etc.) as per the principals’ preferences in partnership with the Estate Management team.
- Entertainment: Prepare all in-flight entertainment technology requests, including movies, TV shows, and music, and test in advance of each trip.
- Grooming: Ensure the aircraft is properly groomed in advance of the trip in collaboration with the aircraft management company.
- Pre-Flight Debrief: Meet with pilots in advance of each flight to ensure all team members are aligned on necessary details.
In-Flight
- Deliver a seamless flight experience to ensure the principals and guests feel safe and comfortable on the aircraft.
- Safety: Ensure passenger safety during boarding, in-flight, and disembarking, and operate emergency exits and prepare passengers for emergency landings, ditching, and evacuations.
- Take-off / Landing: Ensure the cabin is secure for takeoff and landing.
- Culinary: Execute exceptional service for catered meals and snacks in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Beverage: Execute exceptional beverage service in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Ambience: Ensure lighting and music on the aircraft are fully operational and as defined.
- Entertainment: Ensure in-flight entertainment is proactively uploaded and readily available on each flight.
- Comfort: Ensure all passengers have everything they need for maximum comfort.
- Post-flight: Support passengers while disembarking and complete post-flight duties as per the In-Flight Services Manual.
On Trip
- Facilitate a seamless travel experience while guests are on trip.
- Partner Management: Communicate professionally with travel agencies, hotels, car service companies, restaurants, and other vendors, ensuring urgency and the required level of service is understood.
- Concierge Support: Provide on-the-ground support for guests while on trip.
Post-Trip
- Ensure the successful wrap-up of travel.
- Grooming: Ensure all necessary items are offloaded and the aircraft is returned to its steady state, in partnership with the aircraft management company when required.
- Postmortem: Provide feedback to the estate management team on any wins and opportunities from the trip.
Event Support
Assist in the organization and execution of ground-based events and parties, providing the most elevated lifestyle experience and attention to detail, underpinned by discreet service.Who You Are
