The Role
The Global M&A Technology Manager serves as a trusted partner to the Managing Director, Technology. In this hands-on leadership role, you will plan and execute technology integrations across newly acquired international firms. You will design IT solutions from scratch, adapt to varied regional contexts, and ensure compliance with local regulations such as GDPR and other jurisdiction-specific practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with the MD to lead global technology integrations from pre-close to full systems migration.
- Conduct rapid IT assessments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Lead integrations covering infrastructure, cloud, and collaboration (Microsoft 365, identity management, networking, endpoint management).
- Establish cybersecurity and compliance standards for cross-border operations.
- Design data migration strategies minimizing business disruption.
- Rationalize applications, vendors, and contracts balancing global standards with local requirements.
- Develop a scalable IT integration playbook for repeatable processes.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, finance, and HR leaders for alignment with business goals.
- Act as a cultural bridge with acquired firms and adapt to global time zones.
The Requirements
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 7+ years in IT and M&A integrations, including global experience and building IT from scratch.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SaaS migrations, networking, cloud environments, data migration, cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems.
Leadership & Program Skills: Strong program management, change management, effective communication with non-technical stakeholders, and ability to develop scalable frameworks.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, culturally intelligent, resourceful, and high integrity with a focus on data security and compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base compensation with a salary range of $125,000 - $215,000 along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and discretionary bonuses. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
