The Role
The Global M&A Technology Manager is a hands-on leadership role serving as a trusted partner to the Managing Director, Technology. You will plan and execute technology integrations across newly acquired international firms, including those with minimal infrastructure. Your work spans from pre-close planning through full systems migration, ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations such as GDPR and jurisdiction-specific IT practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with the MD to lead global technology integrations.
- Conduct rapid IT assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Enforce cybersecurity and compliance standards across borders.
- Design and execute data migration strategies with minimal disruption.
- Rationalize applications, vendors, and contracts while balancing local requirements.
- Develop scalable IT integration playbooks and standardized processes.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, finance, and HR to ensure alignment.
- Serve as a cultural bridge with acquired firm leaders.
- Adjust working hours to meet non-U.S. firm demands and travel internationally.
The Requirements
A bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is required along with 7+ years in IT, including direct M&A integration experience. Candidates must have a proven ability to integrate firms internationally, adapt to culturally diverse environments, and partner with C-level technology leadership in complex transformations.
Technical Expertise
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SaaS migrations, networking, and cloud environments.
- Proficient in data migration, systems consolidation, and application rationalization.
- Experience with cybersecurity assessments and remediation in cross-border contexts.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, and document management systems.
- Strong vendor and contract management skills across multiple geographies.
Leadership & Program Skills
Manage simultaneous integrations across multiple time zones, demonstrate strong program and change management capabilities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers competitive base compensation, annual discretionary bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, generous paid time off, and 12 holidays annually. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
