Overview

The Events Concierge and Coordinator at Andaz West Hollywood is created to not only meet, but exceed expectations of meeting planners and guests. This role ensures all function rooms are double-checked before start time to confirm satisfaction with facilities and equipment per client specifications, acting as the constant liaison between the hotel and the meeting planner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor function room setup and guest needs throughout the day.
  • Assist Events and Sales Managers with administrative duties.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Support rooms-only groups with reservation updates and special requests.
  • Provide immediate assistance and service recovery for any issues.

Service Essentials

Greet every guest with a smile, use the guest’s name, offer quick service, provide assistance with options, and ensure guests feel appreciated.

Job Specifications

  • Track event leads, customer interactions, and generate reports.
  • Double-check function rooms ensuring client specifications are met.
  • Anticipate and resolve guest requests promptly (respond in 5 minutes, resolve within 15 minutes).
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and support service recovery operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills and a desire to satisfy guest needs.
  • Experience in the service industry and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights, and stand/walk for entire shifts.
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00.
