Overview

Our Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor, part of the Hyatt Hotels family, opened in February 2019 in Munich's new Schwabinger Tor district. The property features 277 rooms including 51 suites, three restaurants, a rooftop bar, an event space, and Munich's largest spa and wellness area. You will join a team known for its hospitality, respect, and a genuine passion for guest service.

Responsibilities

As the Associate Director of Sales at Andaz, you will report directly to the Commercial Director of Sales and lead the sales team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing the sales team.
  • Expanding existing business and monitoring competitors to boost revenue.
  • Preparing statistics and market relevant information.
  • Building new business fields and exploring new markets.
  • Creating and executing the sales plan.
  • Planning and executing sales promotions, customer events, and trade shows.
  • Managing FAM trips and national/international sales travels.
  • Collaborating with the Event Sales & Revenue Team to secure bookings.
  • Representing the hotel externally in line with corporate identity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a warm, authentic individual with at least 2 years of sales experience in similar roles. Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong negotiation skills, flexibility, and readiness to travel.
  • Passion for lifestyle, travel, and networking.
  • Practical approach with organizational strength and accuracy.
  • High customer and service orientation.
  • Fluency in German and English.
