Role Overview

The Junior Quantitative Researcher will join the trading team to design, evaluate, and implement quantitative models that guide trading strategies and market analysis in digital assets. This role requires a strong foundation in quantitative modeling, statistics, and programming with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine trading strategies and signal analysis models
  • Engage with stakeholders to set success metrics for models
  • Break down large projects into actionable tasks
  • Mentor junior team members and share key methodologies
  • Align quantitative research efforts with Anchorage’s strategic vision

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Strong proficiency in Python or functional programming

  • Familiarity with large dataset management in finance

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Outstanding communication skills to articulate quantitative concepts
  • Experience in quantitative trading environment with crypto market data is a bonus
