Position Summary

Analytic Services Inc. seeks an International Programs Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (ODASD/NM) in engagements related to the safety, security, and survivability of U.S. nuclear weapons deployed outside the Continental United States, mutual defense agreements under the Atomic Energy Act, and nuclear weapons accident/incident response policy.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Develop read ahead materials, briefing products, and talking points for senior officials.
  • Organize meetings, develop materials, and analyze data for NATO HLG processes.
  • Support NATO’s modernization of nuclear consultations, command and control systems.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing working papers and interagency documents regarding U.S. nuclear weapons in Europe.
  • Administer mutual defense agreements including the U.S.-UK MDA and AUKUS.
  • Review and support negotiations on international nuclear agreements.
  • Provide technical support on nuclear accident/incident response policies and training exercises.
  • Contribute to annual reports to Congress and the President through analysis and briefing preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including SES level support
  • Experience working with international partners and senior officials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent writing skills and technical document drafting experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in OSD, Joint Staff, U.S. European Command, or NATO environments
  • Knowledge of nuclear policy and international nuclear cooperation
  • Experience in scientific, engineering, or technical fields
