Role: Engineer, FPGA Design
The FPGA Design Engineer will develop embedded digital designs interfacing ADI products, targeted on various FPGA devices. In a cross-functional team environment, responsibilities include design definition, development, implementation, documentation, system testing, bring-up and debug of FPGA-based solutions, and providing technical support to global customers.
- Develop FPGA designs targeting ADI’s converter technology
- Create HDL designs on standard FPGA evaluation platforms
- Support hardware and software teams in system testing and debugging
- Prepare design documentation, application notes, and technical articles
- Provide customer support via the ADI Engineer Zone forum
Qualifications
A BS/MS degree in EE or ECE (or equivalent experience) is required. Candidates should have strong digital design skills (VHDL/Verilog), experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, and familiarity with embedded systems and FPGA platforms (Xilinx/Altera/Lattice). Experience with Linux and bare-metal programming, along with knowledge of analog, linear and mixed-signal circuits, is essential. Scripting skills in Perl/Tcl and shell scripts are a plus. Applicants must be eligible for export licensing review as required.
