The Operations Floor Lead holds a pivotal role within the retail team at Ana Luisa. This role oversees in-store inventory management, ensures visual merchandising standards, and plays an active role on the sales floor. Reporting initially to the Store Manager, the Floor Lead of Operations is responsible for managing inventory audits, maintaining a superior store presentation, coaching team members, engaging customers, and driving sales performance.
What you’ll be responsible for
Team Leadership:
- Nurture an inclusive team culture and promote engagement.
- Maintain effective communication with team and partners.
- Lead training, coaching, and performance feedback for team members.
- Set high standards for customer service on the sales floor.
- Communicate KPIs and store initiatives clearly.
Sales Achievement:
- Use product knowledge to enhance customer journey.
- Monitor store revenue goals and devise strategies to meet targets.
- Empower the team to achieve sales and KPI objectives.
- Motivate team members to excel in sales and customer engagement.
Customer Experience:
- Build loyal clientele through exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with management and HQ Marketing on store events.
- Advocate for customers by relaying valuable feedback.
Operational Excellence & Visual Merchandising:
- Uphold visual standards and ensure display accuracy.
- Lead routine inventory counts and maintain data accuracy.
- Process transactions, returns, exchanges, and warranties precisely.
- Manage front and back of house procedures per company protocol.
- Oversee inventory shipments and ensure proper store replenishment.
- Collaborate with HQ operations to optimize store processes.
What you’ll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2-3 years retail management experience; jewelry experience preferred.
- 2-3 years in retail operations and proficient inventory management skills.
- Proven ability to drive sales and strong business acumen.
- Experience with Shopify, Google Workspace, and inventory management software.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
