As Principal IC Requirements Engineer – ALM & Compliance Leader at ams OSRAM, you will assume a strategic and technical leadership position, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of excellence in processes and tools. Your governance responsibilities are crucial for the organization's success.

Core Responsibilities:

• Define the global ALM architecture within PTC Codebeamer, ensuring it is scalable, robust, and provides end-to-end traceability for critical projects.
• Design intricate workflows, trackers, and dashboards specifically tailored to meet rigorous international standards such as ISO 26262, IATF 16949, and ASPICE.
• Establish comprehensive corporate templates and processes to streamline audits and certifications, significantly reducing both time and associated risks.
• Lead complex integrations with essential external tools like Cadence Virtuoso, PLM, CI/CD, and Jira, primarily utilizing REST APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Automate critical processes using Python, including the generation of custom reports and dashboards, scripting for integration with pipelines and external systems, and optimization of quality and compliance metrics.
• Act as a technical reference and mentor, providing expert training to teams on ALM best practices and effective requirements management strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster innovation in development processes, specifically for semiconductor and critical systems projects.

Key Qualifications:

• Successfully completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
• 8+ years of extensive experience in requirements management and process leadership, particularly within semiconductor, automotive, or complex electronic systems projects.
• A proven track record of successful ALM and compliance initiatives in highly regulated environments.
• Advanced proficiency in PTC Codebeamer, encompassing architecture design, workflow development, compliance templates, and reporting, or deep expertise in a functionally similar tool.
• Strong Python programming skills for automation tasks and seamless REST API integration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EDA environments, specifically Cadence Virtuoso, and experience with integration tools such as PLM, CI/CD, and Jira.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective global communication.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• A strategic vision, strong technical leadership capabilities, and an unwavering passion for continuous improvement.
