Role: AI Engineer

The Research and Measurement team is seeking an AI Engineer to integrate sophisticated AI technologies, including generative AI, into products and internal processes. You will work on designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that power Amplify’s instruction and assessment programs.

Essential Responsibilities

• AI Solutions Engineering: Develop and implement innovative AI solutions for product augmentation.
• Machine Learning Implementation: Design and deploy intricate machine learning models.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with learning scientists, data scientists, content experts, product managers, and engineers.
• Technical Communication: Explain complex AI concepts and create clear technical documentation.
• Innovation and Growth: Stay updated on AI advancements and integrate them into strategies.
• Knowledge Sharing: Educate other teams on generative AI applications and limitations.

Required Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years in AI and software development in a commercial environment.
• Proficient in Python, Java, R, and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) and devops tooling.
• Strong technical communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Understanding of ethical implications of AI concerning fairness and privacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Advanced proficiency in deep learning frameworks and knowledge of NLP.
• Experience or knowledge of the EdTech industry.

Salary range for this role is $135,000 - $175,000 plus an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
