Senior React AI Developer

Amplifire eLearning is seeking a talented Senior React AI Developer to join our collaborative, cross-functional product team. You will be instrumental in building modern, high-performance user experiences that directly improve learning outcomes. This role emphasizes the integration of AI-assisted development tools, such as Codex and Claude Code, to enhance speed, quality, and debugging. You will not only use AI but also help shape its application within our engineering processes by contributing to tooling, workflows, and agent-based approaches.

What You’ll Do

AI-Assisted Development and Tooling

• Utilize AI tools as a fundamental part of your development workflow.
• Build and refine AI-agent workflows or lightweight tooling to boost development efficiency.
• Evaluate and validate AI-generated code for production readiness.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering tasks using AI.

Frontend Feature Development and Delivery

• Develop and maintain frontend features using React, TypeScript, Redux, React Router, and Chakra UI.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Take ownership of features from implementation through delivery.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring performance and accessibility.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building web applications with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with modern React patterns (Hooks, component architecture).
• Ability to take ownership and deliver with minimal oversight.
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools or workflows (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to production development.
• Experience building small tools, scripts, or workflows to improve development efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience integrating with backend APIs (Java/Spring is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redux, React Router, and/or Chakra UI.
• Experience working in a full-stack environment.
• Familiarity with modern testing tools (e.g., React Testing Library, Vitest).

Compensation

• Base salary range: $135,000 - $155,000 per year.
• Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
