Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Python (Intermediate), combined with deep domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Treasury and Trading data, enabling data-driven decision-making through insightful reporting and analysis.
Your AMINA To-Do List
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business stakeholders
- Perform data analysis using Python for automation, statistical analysis, and data processing
- Work closely with business teams in Banking, Treasury, and Trading to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Analyze large financial datasets including trading data, liquidity, risk, and treasury operations
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve business performance
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to improve data pipelines and data availability.

Experience Required:
4-7 years of experience
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, performance optimization)
- Intermediate proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, basic data pipelines, scripting)
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
Domain Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with Treasury operations (liquidity management, cash flow analysis, ALM)
- Knowledge of Trading environments (market data, trade lifecycle, P&L analysis, risk metrics)
- Familiarity with financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Exposure to financial regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
