Our mission at amicable is to transform the way people end relationships in a kinder and better way, helping couples avoid the emotional and financial turmoil often associated with traditional solicitor approaches. Our core values—Kindness, Trust & Professionalism, Customer Focus, and Pioneering spirit—bring our purpose to life, making what we do and how we do it truly unique. We are proud to be part of the Octopus Group.

About the Founder's Associate Role

As a Founder's Associate, you will work in close partnership with the CEO within our fast-moving scale-up environment. This role involves leading a wide range of high-impact, company-wide initiatives crucial for supporting the company's growth. You will drive execution across a constantly evolving portfolio of projects, from strategic problem-solving to operational priorities. Your responsibilities will include preparing materials, supporting key meetings, and ensuring clear, effective communication across teams as the business scales.

A significant initial focus will be on supporting the launch of new product partnerships, distinct from our commercial/marketing partnerships function. You will guide these partnerships from signed agreement to go-live, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to establish optimal operating models, processes, and reporting from the outset. Acting as the central coordination point, you will create clear, scalable foundations that facilitate smooth delivery, strong partner relationships, and long-term growth. A data-driven approach will be essential, as you define success metrics, track performance, and highlight wins, risks, and opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys diverse work, and is driven to make a meaningful impact across the entire business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product partnership delivery
    • Build and maintain delivery plans, timelines, and clear ownership across stakeholders, proactively flagging risks and dependencies.
    • Help design, document, and improve practical processes for partner onboarding, delivery, and ongoing partner management, including clear reporting and tracking of performance, issues, and progress.
    • Contribute to establishing repeatable, efficient ways of working with partners, supported by simple, reliable reporting, to enable smooth delivery and long-term growth.
  • Reporting & insights
    • Define success metrics and track progress across key projects.
    • Work closely with product, delivery, operations, and commercial teams to ensure consistent communication of updates, goals, scope, and timelines.
    • Use data and insights to highlight achievements, identify risks, and surface opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • You bring experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment, comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and change.
  • You have experience managing and coordinating diverse projects in close partnership with C-suite leaders in a fast-paced environment.
  • You possess strong execution skills, with the ability to take initiatives from idea through to delivery.
  • You have experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners, acting as a clear central point of ownership, keeping teams aligned on goals and timelines.
  • Ideally, you’ve launched or supported product partnerships and understand the operational work required to take partnerships live.
  • You’re highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • You have a data-driven mindset and are able to define success metrics, track progress, and highlight insights and opportunities.
  • You’re able to identify problems, suggest solutions, and help implement them, learning quickly to add value across projects.
