Senior Manager Marketing, Lifecycle Value Lab
What You Will Do
Let’s do this! Amgen has launched the Lifecycle Value Lab, a newly formed business unit within the U.S. Organization designed to create enterprise value by testing new technologies and novel ways of working across the LVL portfolio and scaling proven innovations across the broader U.S. Business Organization. LVL is focused on driving brand growth, optimizing lifecycle value, unlocking organizational efficiencies, and building a disciplined experimentation model that can translate innovative marketing approaches into measurable business impact.
The Senior Manager Marketing, Lifecycle Value Lab will be a key member of the LVL marketing team and will support portfolio brands by leading strategic marketing initiatives, omnichannel tactics, and experimentation efforts that improve customer experience, brand performance, and organizational efficiency. This role will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Business Analytics & Insights, Media, Medical, Value & Access, Patient Support, and cross-functional partners to identify business opportunities, develop testable hypotheses, execute marketing experiments, measure performance, and scale learnings across brands.
The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director, Brand Lead, Marketing and Experimentation Operations Lead, Lifecycle Value Lab, and will be expected to operate with strategic agility, strong executional discipline, and a collaborative enterprise mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing and Promotional Execution
- Leverage Amgen Brand Management segmentation & targeting principles to assess and size LVL brand opportunities
- Develop and execute tactical marketing plans for assigned brands including Aimovig across relevant channels, including websites, email, search, media, digital programs, and other omnichannel tactics.
- Partner with digital media, analytics, patient support, value & access, and other cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are high-impact, customer-relevant, and designed to support brand growth.
- Manage agency and vendor partners to ensure high-quality strategic thinking, efficient execution, and delivery against timelines and budget.
- Lead projects through Amgen’s material review processes to ensure responsible, compliant, and effective communications.
Experimentation and Lifecycle Value Creation
- Support the LVL experimentation model by helping define business problems, develop testable hypotheses, prioritize experiments, and measure impact.
- Develop KPI dashboards, measurement plans, and performance readouts for marketing tactics and experiments.
- Analyze experiment results and marketing performance to identify insights, share learnings, and recommend opportunities for optimization or scaling.
Marketing Operations
- Partner closely with GCCI and AI&D teams to pilot and scale latest platforms, new technologies, and processes to advance LVL brand priorities
- Embrace capabilities and efficiencies offered by Amgen India and Amgen Portugal in XF Brand

Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Or
- Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Or
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Or
- Associate’s Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Or
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare
- Experience developing, executing, and measuring non-personal promotion, omnichannel marketing, digital campaigns, or customer engagement programs.
- Experience with HCP, patient, consumer, or field-facing marketing tactics, including websites, email, media, sales materials, peer-to-peer programs, and digital engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges, data, and insights into simple, actionable marketing strategies and tactics.
- Experience developing KPI dashboards, measurement plans, market research plans, or performance readouts.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with biopharmaceutical data sources, claims data, customer insights, and/or marketing performance analytics.
- Experience leading projects through material review processes; experience with complex or new-to-organization submissions is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, agencies, vendors, and budgets.
- Experience effectively partnering with and managing external agencies, media partners, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly matrixed, fast-changing, and ambiguous environment.
- Collaborative teammate with the ability to motivate, influence, and align cross-functional partners without direct authority.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience presenting marketing strategies, tactical plans, or performance results to leadership and large groups.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in strategy and execution.
- Experience with experimentation, test-and-learn approaches, agile ways of working, lifecycle management, or innovation frameworks.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
