Observational Research Senior Manager Role Overview

Amgen is seeking an Observational Research Senior Manager (Epidemiology) focused on the obesity therapeutic area. This role supports pharmacovigilance epidemiology and causal inference teams, generating real-world evidence for various business needs. • Identify opportunities to substitute or complement interventional studies to reduce drug development time and cost.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders on the appropriate use and timing of non-interventional research for strategic business questions.
  • Leverage real-world data and CfOR analytic approaches to inform high-value business decisions for multiple stakeholders.
  • Contribute to CfOR's mission by advancing innovative epidemiological methods and analytical capabilities, reinforcing Amgen's and industry leadership.
