Clinical Imaging Director
In this vital role, you will coordinate and lead the application of different imaging strategies to support our portfolio of innovative obesity, inflammation, cardiovascular, and rare disease drug candidates. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and analyze imaging studies.
Responsibilities
- Expand Amgen’s end-to-end imaging process for non-oncology therapeutic areas.
- Standardize internal document templates and imaging vendor documentation.
- Establish procedures for novel or updated imaging criteria.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during vendor evaluations.
- Develop training materials on imaging methods and endpoints.
- Collaborate with precision medicine, statistics, clinical development, and regulatory teams.
- Lead multi-modality imaging measures as endpoints in clinical studies.
- Contribute to clinical biomarkers and diagnostics strategy by evaluating novel imaging modalities and AI tools.
Basic and Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree with corresponding years of biomedical or imaging-related field experience. A preferred candidate will have advanced experience in clinical imaging research within a pharmaceutical company, a proven track record managing clinical trials, and leadership in utilizing imaging as a quantitative biomarker.
