Field Engineer at Amey

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Field Engineer covering Defence Munitions Kineton, various MoD units in Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire.

The salary is £36,933 plus Van. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week.

What You Will Do

  • Undertake the repair, maintenance, inspection and servicing of plant and equipment to stipulated company, Original Equipment Manufacturer and current legislative standards.
  • Ensure equipment meets the contractual requirements and is fit for purpose prior to any use.
  • Assist the Service and Demand Administrators in maintaining data integrity on the fleet management system.

What You Will Bring

  • NVQ L2/C&G in a mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience, skills and knowledge on construction plant, material handling equipment and/or LGVs.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and a desire to promote customer service excellence.
  • Able to communicate to internal and external customers.
  • Computer literate, basic skills.
  • Solutions based approach to dealing with technical faults and issues.
  • Understanding of, and application of, H&S, PUWER & LOLER requirements.
  • Demonstrate commercial/financial awareness.
  • Hold a current driving licence.
