Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Classroom Management: Create a positive environment, manage student behavior with clear routines and de-escalation techniques.
Instructional Delivery: Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards; adapt instruction for diverse learners; utilize varied teaching strategies; grade assignments consistently.
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess progress, provide timely feedback, and offer support through formative and summative assessments.
Communication: Maintain professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues via ParentSquare, calls, and conferences.
Collaboration & Professional Development: Work closely with administrative teams, participate in meetings, school initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
Administrative Tasks: Complete attendance, manage materials, enforce rules, and ensure student safety.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- California teaching credential or readiness to obtain one.
- 1+ years experience preferred in school settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
