The Role: Customer Service Technician
FARO is actively seeking a dedicated Customer Service Technician to join their team in Korntal-Münchingen, Germany, located in the greater Stuttgart area.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Perform essential repair, maintenance, and servicing of FARO's advanced 3D measurement products for a diverse customer base.
- Conduct thorough inspection and precise problem analysis for all incoming devices, identifying root causes efficiently.
- Execute troubleshooting and meticulous documentation of technical errors, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping.
- Oversee the care and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated 3D measuring systems to guarantee optimal performance.
- Provide crucial support in the calibration processes of high-precision equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Who We Are Looking For
- Completed vocational training in electronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical education is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in a technical service environment is considered a distinct advantage.
- An independent, highly motivated individual who approaches tasks with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- A structured and process-oriented work methodology, ensuring efficient and organized task completion.
- The ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor, especially when handling stressful situations.
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications; familiarity with CMM (computerized measuring machinery) is a significant plus.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level), for effective international communication.
