Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced Fleet Service Coordinator to join our growing team and support strategic accounts. This role is crucial for maintaining the company fleet to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime. You will manage the coordination, prioritization, and scheduling of fleet repairs, and keep customers informed about the progress of the work.
Compensation and Schedule
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, paid weekly every Friday.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm local time.

Role Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and organize estimate requests from technicians and clients.
- Recommend and implement changes to the estimate process.
- Set pricing for maintenance and repair work, ensuring contract compliance.
- Determine repair scope and necessary parts.
- Control costs by applying profitable parts to all orders.
- Implement quality control measures to improve KPIs.
- Communicate with technicians and Fleet Managers to create accurate client quotes.
- Manage the entire estimate submission process for authorizations.
- Communicate with authorizing parties to obtain approval before work begins.
- Confirm parts availability and coordinate with Central Procurement for ordering.
- Schedule services based on part availability and workload priority.
- Utilize various internal and external software to update service statuses.
- Manage estimate rejections and corrections.
- Facilitate system validation error corrections with IT teams.
- Ensure estimates maintain segment profitability.
- Manage part availability to facilitate job scheduling.
- Communicate work order status updates to clients.
- Schedule planned maintenance events based on pre-approvals.
- Identify units out of service and collaborate with Fleet Managers to expedite repairs.
- Respond to customer escalations regarding maintenance service completion.
Key Competencies and Minimum Education
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive/technical experience.
- Prior technician/mechanic experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with key vehicle parts.
- Dealership service advisor experience is preferred.
- Ability to update and interact in fleet systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong computer, phone, customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excel skills preferred.
- Must be multi-task oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
