Role Overview - Business Development Manager - NZ

You will drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies, market expansion, and client engagement. This role is high-impact and directly contributes to Americold’s success, culture, and values.

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Sales Targeting & Performance: Set measurable goals and use data-driven insights.
  • Client Enablement: Enhance satisfaction through tailored support and training.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct research and prepare detailed reports.

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in business development in 3PL, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG sectors. Proven success with processors, wholesalers, brokers and retailers is required. Tertiary qualifications are essential; an MBA is highly desirable. Experience in international freight forwarding, import/export, and global sales initiatives is a plus.
