What you’ll Do

As the Business Development Manager NZ, you will drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies, market expansion, and client engagement. This high-impact role contributes directly to Americold’s success, culture, and values.

Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to attract new customers and grow existing relationships.

Sales Targeting & Performance: Set measurable sales goals, monitor performance, and use data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.

Client Enablement: Enhance client satisfaction through tailored support, training, and long-term relationship building.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver cohesive and effective sales campaigns.

Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and prepare detailed reports to inform strategic decisions.

What Experience And Education You Need

- 5–7 years’ experience in business development within 3PL, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or FMCG sectors.

- Proven success working with processors, wholesalers, brokers, and retailers.

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field; MBA highly desirable.

- Experience in international freight forwarding, import/export, and launching global sales initiatives.

- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
