Position Purpose
The IT Analyst is a critical member of the Technical Support Services team, tasked with providing best-in-class technical support for client devices, software, hardware, and network infrastructure. The role emphasizes high levels of customer service, system availability, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- 1-3 years of IT help desk experience.
- Experience in PC hardware and software support.
- Familiarity with deployment/imaging technologies and Microsoft System Center.
- Proven record in customer service and meeting service levels.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite, Office 365, and Windows desktop.
- Experience with client software installation and configuration.
- Basic hardware upgrade skills and mobile device setup.
- Network, printer, and telephone troubleshooting skills.
- Microsoft Desktop certification or equivalent experience is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; alternatively, technical certifications or equivalent experience.
Essential Functions
- Deliver and support products/services, applications, and network systems.
- Perform software upgrades, workstation setups, and peripheral configurations.
- Deploy desktop and laptop resources using standard imaging tools.
- Provide after-hours and weekend support when required.
- Monitor and implement system security procedures.
- Document work accurately using the ITSM tool.
- Train team members on new technologies and IT services.
Scope & Expectations
- Work in a climate-controlled office and manufacturing floor environment.
- Occasional travel; potential after-hours support.
- Support may include working at heights using Boom and Scissor lifts.
