Job Overview

American Specialty Health is seeking a Documentation Coordinator to join the Practitioner Contracting/Communications department. In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and revision of practitioner operations manuals and forms for various practitioner groups nationwide.

Compensation & Work Environment

This is a remote position with an hourly wage of $18.00. Candidates will be trained remotely and must work from home with a designated work area and company-provided technology equipment. A stable internet connection (minimum download of 50 Mbps and upload of 10 Mbps) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update operations manuals and forms.
  • Maintain documentation for multiple unique provider types.
  • Work with senior staff to gather and confirm requirements.
  • Identify, track, and update state or specialty specific criteria.
  • Maintain a library of draft and final documents.
  • Perform quality assurance by reviewing and publishing final documents.
  • Interact with various departments to facilitate publication and distribution.
  • Maintain records of all revisions and updates.
  • Conduct research and prepare analysis of required data.
  • Support the company as a resource on practitioner guidelines.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years of experience writing, editing, and managing editorial content in healthcare or equivalent experience at ASH is required. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications, strong command of Microsoft Office, and experience with Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

Core Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects are essential. Confidentiality and the ability to collaborate across departments are also critical.

Additional Information
