Job Details

Job Title: Female Coach

The Female Coach position requires relocation to Kuwait. Unaccompanied candidates only.

Job Purpose

Serve as a lead fitness and sport instructor/trainer for the University's sports and fitness programs. Work closely with students in fitness sessions, personal training, and coaching university sports teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Athletic Center and fitness programs.
  • Provide support for athletics operations, scheduling and maintenance.
  • Participate in policy development within the Athletics Department.
  • Lead university sports teams and personal training sessions.
  • Support credit-bearing Health and Wellness courses.
  • Plan and promote interuniversity, intramural, and recreational programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments for community engagement.
  • Manage social media for athletics activities and event reporting.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication in English at all university levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience in developing interuniversity sports programs.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in coaching, teaching, and managing personnel.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and effective relationship building skills.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or Sport Management or equivalent experience with fitness coaching certification. Experience in competitive sports, managing coaching teams, teaching PE courses, and possessing relevant certifications (CPR/AED, Emergency First Aid) is preferred.
