Summary

The Senior Sales Manager, Advertising will sell AIChE’s advertising portfolio including magazine ads, digital advertising, lead generation through webinars and whitepapers, and content marketing. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and closing revenue opportunities as well as launching new advertising products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue for AIChE advertising options from new and existing companies.
  • Generate leads and create sales opportunities through consultative approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term value.
  • Expand business with existing advertising partners and prospect new markets.
  • Develop and pitch new advertising products with internal coordination.
  • Collaborate with CEP staff and other teams at AIChE.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in chemical engineering or media sales.
  • Experience in B2B or association print and digital ad sales.
  • Ability to write strategic, integrated proposals and conduct cold calling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce; strong organizational skills.
