Role Overview - Senior Financial Analyst

The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) team, within the Regulatory Reporting and Treasury Controllership Team, provides comprehensive Treasury and regulatory reporting support. This role leads the controllership function for Credco and related legal entities and ensures accurate reporting of American Express's cash and cash equivalent balances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounting and reporting for Credco and subsidiaries.
  • Ensure pricing of receivables and adherence to transfer pricing norms.
  • Prepare monthly controls including reconciliations, bank runs, and FX calculations.
  • Lead PwC audits and support financial statement preparations.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Reporting Team for regulatory filings.
  • Monitor $45Bn+ cash and cash equivalent balances per US GAAP.
  • Support daily monitoring of the cash portfolio for project Fast Forward.
  • Consult with Treasury and other stakeholders on cash-related projects.
  • Participate in process improvements and standardization initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years in Accounting, Reporting, or Auditing with CPA/Chartered Accountant qualification preferred. Experience in regulatory or external reporting and outstanding relationship management skills mentioned.
