Role Impact
The Manager - Sales Account Development is responsible for retaining and growing existing US Small & Medium Enterprise client relationships through face-to-face interactions across a defined geographical territory (Brooklyn, Metro NYC, Northern NJ).
Key Responsibilities
- Planning: Identify underutilized accounts and track opportunities using CRM.
- Relationship Management: Engage customers to uncover growth and retention opportunities and establish client-specific value propositions.
- Client Solutions: Use consultative selling to grow charge volume, onboard new vendors, and expand accounts.
- Negotiation & Closing: Upsell and cross-sell products while collaborating with internal teams.
- Compliance: Adhere to American Express Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years sales experience in regulated industries. Strong skills in relationship management, consultative selling, and negotiation are essential.
