Role Overview

As part of the U.S. Regulatory Reporting team within the Controllership organization, you will support the execution of the Exam and Review Preparedness framework. This involves preparing for external regulatory exams (FRB, OCC) and internal reviews while ensuring consistency and value creation across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing exam and review readiness assessments.
• Anticipate examiner questions and develop training materials.
• Review exam documentation and ensure consistency across responses.
• Support tracking of requests and scheduling of review meetings.
• Collaborate across American Express for consistent exam preparedness.
• Develop management action plans and aid in closing MRAs/MRIAs.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, reporting or auditing with a strong grasp of U.S. Regulatory and U.S. GAAP requirements. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, drive projects under tight deadlines, and demonstrate strong executive presence and collaboration skills. Prior experience in regulatory reporting (e.g., FR Y-9C, Call Report, FR2052a, FR Y-14) and risk management frameworks is preferred.
