About the Role

The Audit Director Global Commercial Services at American Express leads risk-based audits for a diverse portfolio in Global Commercial Services including Corporate and B2B Solutions, Small Business Card and Banking, Commercial Lending, Product Analytics, and more. This role oversees multiple audit projects and collaborates with senior leaders to drive the annual Audit Plan across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee audit teams on multiple projects across regions
  • Own a specific portfolio with full accountability
  • Collaborate in developing a risk-based annual Audit Plan
  • Support regulatory activities and conduct L2 reviews
  • Mentor, coach, and develop high-performing audit staff

Requirements

  • 8+ years of audit experience, preferably from Big Four or G-SIB
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in overseeing multiple audits and portfolio management
  • Strong command of audit methodologies and control frameworks
  • Knowledge in data analytics and technology-driven audit practices is preferred
