Role Overview

The Analyst Data Governance & Management role is part of the Finance Data Governance Organization within Corporate Controllership. This position involves overseeing the end-to-end process of financial regulatory data attestation and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and traceability for regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact clients with overdue accounts for settlements and preventive work.
  • Support the implementation and execution of the regulatory data attestation framework.
  • Implement standards, controls, and documentation protocols for regulatory submissions such as FR Y-9C, CCAR, Basel, BCBS 239.
  • Maintain attestation workflows, schedules, templates, and dashboards using an AMEX enterprise tool.
  • Document data quality checks, transformation validations, and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare attestation status reports for leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Support policy alignment and ensure audit preparedness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Management, or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
  • 2-5 years in data governance, data quality, regulatory reporting or audit/compliance roles.
  • Experience in Finance, Banking or similar regulated industries.
  • Proven experience supporting regulatory reporting (e.g., FR2052a, FRY 14s, FFIEC 031, FRY9C).
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and effective in a matrix organization.
