Overview

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant - Sabre to join our highly skilled remote team. At Amex GBT, colleagues find inspiration in travel and make an industry impact through outstanding service, proactive research, and innovative travel technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise and arrange corporate travel for individuals and groups.
  • Conduct research and analysis on travel options.
  • Book domestic and international travel via air, road, rail, and accommodations.
  • Utilize Global Distribution Systems with native Sabre expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Use excellent telephone communication to address special requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to mentor and improve service levels.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants should have 3+ years of corporate travel experience, a passion for client service, and professional communication skills. A strong understanding of travel industry norms, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve customer issues independently are key qualities. Experience using Sabre and other GDS systems is required.

Work Hours & Benefits

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm EST. This role includes a competitive base salary, discretionary annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement programs, travel perks, and access to over 20,000 courses.
