About the Specialized Travel Consultant Role
American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) offers an inspiring culture where travel becomes a force for good. In this role, you will provide high-touch travel service and creative travel solutions from the comfort of your home.
What You’ll Do
You will advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers, booking domestic and international travel across air, road, rail, and accommodation segments. You will use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) including Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and Galileo to provide timely and creative travel solutions for clients.
- Advise and arrange corporate travel
- Book travel across various modes
- Utilize multiple GDS platforms
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and chat
- Meet business and account-specific metrics
What We’re Looking For
Candidates should have previous travel experience (preferably business travel), strong understanding of fares and ticketing, native GDS expertise, excellent professional communication, and attention to detail. The role requires integrity, independent issue resolution and teamwork. Flexibility for afternoon shifts and weekends is essential as part of a 24/7 Traveler Care unit.
