About the Role
At American Express, our 175-year history of innovation and shared values shapes our dynamic Finance internship. As a Campus Undergraduate Summer Finance Intern, Sophomore 2026, you will work within various Finance functions including Corporate Planning & Analysis, Global Commercial Services Finance, US Consumer Services Finance, Global Merchant and Network Finance, Controllership, and Global Treasury.
How You Will Make an Impact
In this 9-week internship, you will:
- Deliver best-in-class analysis and decision support
- Articulate decisions clearly to multiple stakeholders
- Gather and analyze data from various sources
- Obtain comprehensive business insights and identify trends
- Hone analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to manipulate large data sets, strategic leadership, a strong work ethic, and programming skills a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
