Role Overview: Analyst - Control Management

Within International Risk and Controls in International Card Services (ICS), you will play a key role in independent testing and assurance of business process controls. You will contribute to a robust control environment by executing control testing, gathering evidence, partnering with control owners, and supporting a new Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute independent control testing to evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
  • Gather and document high-quality evidence supporting testing outcomes.
  • Conduct control walkthroughs with process experts to understand procedures.
  • Identify and report control deficiencies with actionable improvement insights.
  • Prepare concise reports on testing results for management.
  • Enhance control testing methodologies and documentation standards.
  • Support adoption of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in operational risk, internal controls, or related testing function.
  • Experience in control testing methodologies and evidence gathering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Experience with GRC tools like Archer or ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with RCSA frameworks.
  • Experience in first line-of-defense risk or control management in a global organization.
