Overview
The American Arbitration Association is seeking a Case Administrator to provide administrative support on arbitration and mediation cases. In this role, you will work with professionals and handle scheduling, communications, case management, billing, and much more in accordance with AAA rules and applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Administer arbitration and mediation cases.
- Communicate with parties, attorneys, arbitrators, and mediators.
- Manage case files and update records in the PRISM system.
- Calculate and allocate bills based on fee schedules.
- Coordinate conference calls and video conferences.
- Provide prompt responses and excellent client service.
Qualifications
Required education includes an associate degree in business or a related discipline along with 2-4 years relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (including pivot tables and data analysis) and web-based case management systems is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation package with quarterly incentives. Salary varies by location: Johnston, RI ($50,000 - $55,000), Boston, MA ($54,000 - $59,000), Somerset, NJ ($54,000 - $59,000), and New York, NY ($58,000 - $63,000).
