This job is a member of the Cabin and Regulatory Standards Team within the Integrated Operations Division. Responsible for providing administrative support to the department and the ODA (Organization Designation Authorization).
What You'll Do as an Administrative Assistant, Technical Operations
- Maintains WorkBrain Entries for all employees and updates FMLA information. This includes accurate timekeeping with variable shifts and overtime entries.
- Creates, tracks, and maintains various files and distro lists.
- Plans and manages department meetings, and functions for team members.
- Ensures department’s document filing is kept up to date and the filing system is maintained properly.
- Provides administrative support to Director, other managers in the department and the ODA.
- Manages the ODA mailbox, reviews all incoming email, distributes and files accordingly.
- Oversee new hire onboarding by preparing materials, coordinating schedules and system access, and helping deliver a smooth, positive first-day experience.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Working knowledge of WorkBrain.
- Previous American Airlines (AA) office administrative experience.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Sabre and travel booking.
- Skills and ability to accurately coordinate, track, and report departmental appointments and functions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
