Junior Analyst at Amentum
Amentum is seeking a Junior Analyst to support our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. This part-time role involves critical data verification, analysis, and case file management to ensure accuracy and provide comprehensive support to investigative phases.
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary verification of Case File data to ensure foundational information is accurate prior to the investigative phase.
- Execute data extractions and download intelligence products from the NISOS Ascend platform for comparative analysis.
- Conduct detailed gap analysis by comparing internal ICE-provided data against NISOS investigative results to identify discrepancies or corroborating evidence.
- Enhance case files with critical context and evidentiary documentation, including residential verifications (photographs/utility bills), official vital records (death certificates/court filings), and employment history.
- Perform self-directed quality control checks using standardized checklists to ensure all findings are substantiated by credible, relevant documentation.
- Package and submit completed Case Files with comprehensive item results to Mid-Level Analysts for secondary review and processing.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust.
- High School Diploma.
- 4-5 years of administrative related experience.
- Must have a stable internet connection.
Compensation Details
The compensation for this position is estimated between $55,000 and $60,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable agreements.
