The Role
As a Design Verification Engineer, you will plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD’s graphics processor IP to ensure a bug-free final design.
- Collaborate with architects, hardware, and firmware engineers.
- Develop test plan documentation and estimate testing times.
- Build and debug directed and random verification tests.
- Review functional and code coverage metrics and adjust tests.
- Coordinate small teams and mentor junior engineers.
The Person
You are passionate about complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to work effectively with global teams.
Preferred Experience
- Expertise in Digital Design Verification using System Verilog and UVM.
- Strong skills in Verilog and functional verification tools (VCS, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).
- Experience with Unix/Linux and scripting languages like Perl, Shell, or Ruby.
- Leadership or mentorship experience with complex design projects.
- Exposure to simulation profile optimization and workflow automation.
Academic Credentials
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering.
