About The Role: Technical Account Manager
As a Technical Account Manager at Ambient.ai, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our largest enterprise customers successfully deploy and operationalize our highly configurable AI platform within their complex security environments. This unique position bridges the gap between traditional Customer Success and post-sales engineering, requiring a blend of customer leadership, technical curiosity, and strong execution.
The ideal candidate can establish credibility with technical and operational teams, clarify objectives across various stakeholders, and maintain high momentum from initial implementation through long-term adoption and growth. If you thrive on solving complex customer challenges, mastering nuanced technology, and translating large enterprise deployments into tangible business outcomes, this high-impact role offers significant visibility and ownership.
What You'll Do
- Own customer outcomes from post-sale implementation through renewal, adoption, and expansion.
- Lead customers through deployment, onboarding, testing, training, and operational rollout of the Ambient.ai platform.
- Partner with customer stakeholders across security, IT, operations, and leadership to define goals, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Develop deep proficiency in the Ambient.ai platform to help customers apply it effectively in real-world scenarios.
- Navigate technical and operational complexity, breaking ambiguous problems into clear next steps and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Build trusted relationships with both day-to-day users and executive stakeholders.
- Capture customer feedback and field insights to help shape product, process, and go-to-market improvements.
- Identify opportunities to deepen customer impact and expand partnerships over time.
- Travel up to 30% to support customer engagements.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or Field Engineering, supporting complex enterprise technology.
- Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder programs or implementations in enterprise environments.
- A strong ability to learn sophisticated, configurable technology and understand system, team, and workflow integration.
- A customer-facing style that combines structure, urgency, and relationship-building.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-moving situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high degree of ownership, adaptability, and follow-through.
