About the Role

The UX Designer II - Amazon works closely with product owners, software developers, programmers, and other designers to create innovative design solutions that impact millions of users. The role involves end to end design of large-scale projects using a user-centered design approach, assessing current site data and user behavior, and conceiving designs that meet both user and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create scalable dynamic user interfaces for large multi-tiered platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement design solutions.
  • Use design tools such as Wireframe Applications, Photoshop, Axure, and HTML.
  • Refine, maintain, and enforce current design guidelines.
  • Handle changing priorities throughout the product life cycle.
  • Present design solutions to diverse teams and departments.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or similar. Minimum requirements include one year of hands-on experience in creating software design solutions, use of design technologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD 129,600 - 176,000 per year. Additional compensation may include sign-on payment, restricted stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package.
