About the UX Designer Internship 2026 at Amazon
Amazon internships are full-time positions expected to work in-office, Monday through Friday up to 40 hours per week. Interns must be enrolled in an academic program in the United States with at least one academic term remaining after the internship.
Applicants will be considered for all UX Designer Intern roles across various US locations including Greater Seattle Area, Greater Bay Area, Greater DMV, Austin, New York City, and Minneapolis. You can indicate your location preference and start date, but final decisions depend on business needs.
What You Will Do
- Design user-friendly software interfaces and experiences.
- Create designs using market analysis, customer feedback, and usability insights.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, and detailed UI specifications.
- Collaborate with program managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Communicate design rationales clearly to stakeholders and non-design audiences.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Basic qualifications include enrollment in an academic program in the US, availability for full-time work, and a portfolio of creative materials. Preferred qualifications include experience with consumer brands, collaborative team work, and a passion for storytelling. Demonstrated knowledge in various design tools and accessibility standards will be an advantage.
Compensation & Additional Information
