Job Summary

As a UAE National Inventory Control Quality Assurance Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning and resourcing your function, identifying training needs, and managing team performance. This role involves supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall safety, quality, performance, and a positive member experience within either Inbound or Outbound FC operations. You will set and clarify departmental expectations, foster teamwork, and proactively address obstacles to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage sufficient resourcing for the Inventory Control Quality Assurance function.
  • Identify training requirements, oversee absence, and manage performance.
  • Coach and continuously monitor your department to enhance productivity.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance for Inbound or Outbound FCs.
  • Set clear departmental expectations and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures, document incidents promptly, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain professionalism, adapt to ambiguity, and proactively drive improvements.
  • Communicate and consistently enforce company policies.
  • Source and nurture improvement ideas, integrating them into action plans.
  • Share best practices across departments, shifts, and the wider organization.
  • Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT for project support and resources.
  • Track production metrics and utilize data to develop continuous improvement strategies.
  • Assist in establishing long-term operational strategic plans.
  • Mentor and develop team members to optimize performance and foster individual growth.
  • Recognize high performance and implement coaching/discipline for poor performance.
  • Propose and implement enhancements in equipment and processing methods.
  • Review time-cards daily and weekly for pay accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including rotating shifts, working extended hours, and holidays, with an expectation to arrive 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes late for pass-downs and reports.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 12-hour shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, shifts, and work areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a UAE National with a family book.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications.
