Role Description
The Personal Information Domain (PID) Platform team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II with a passion for building full-stack enterprise solutions using cloud technologies. The role includes ownership of both customer-facing experiences and back-end services for Personal Information management across all of Amazon, impacting employees globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design, build, and maintenance of domain platform services.
- Develop HR admin experiences and robust data validation capabilities.
- Interact with engineers, product managers, stakeholders, and managers.
- Innovate and deliver new features rapidly with solid engineering practices.
A Day in the Life
Design and implement new features and enhancements. Resolve complex issues through cross-team collaboration and maintain holistic business process understanding. You will also use the products yourself as both a developer and a customer advocate.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years in design or architecture of systems using best practices.
- Experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
