Amazon develops products and services that transform the way customers live. Members of the Stores Security team guard customer trust. The Vulnerability Management and Remediation Operations (VMR Operations) team manages all aspects of the Vulnerability Management lifecycle across Amazon.
Role Overview
As a Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability Management Operations, you will drive the strategic, technical, and engineering direction of the Vulnerability Management Program. You will collaborate across teams and geographies, leverage relationships with senior engineers and business leaders, and drive risk-based decisions across complex programs.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years troubleshooting systems and command line tool usage
- 5+ years in identifying security issues and risk mitigation
- 4+ years in scripting, programming, and security code review
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in threat modeling or risk identification techniques
- Experience with security in microservices and web services
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay ranges from $143,300 to $247,600 per year based on geographic market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
