Overview
The Senior Program Manager Sustainability at Amazon is responsible for identifying, scoping, and leading sustainability programs within North America. This role focuses on cross-functional and technology projects to meet sustainability goals in transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle complex cross-functional programs across multiple organizations.
- Collaborate with partner teams to deliver and coordinate resources.
- Develop quantitative models to evaluate financial and sustainability impacts.
- Analyze data and drive improvements using clear metrics.
- Communicate project status, risks, and changes to senior management.
- Implement KPI reporting for program portfolios.
- Establish mechanisms to scale sustainability solutions and pilots.
Qualifications
Basic: Over 5 years of project/program management experience, proficiency in using data and metrics, experience in cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams, and evidence of leading decarbonization or fleet-related projects.
Preferred: 2+ years in process improvements, and a Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field. Must excel in ambiguous environments with flexibility and professionalism.
