Role Overview

The Risk Manager, Mediation team plays a critical role in managing high-impact disputes within the EU Mediation process. This role is focused on helping ensure that customers make informed purchase decisions and that sellers and brand owners maintain a healthy, compliant presence on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, manage, and resolve complex disputes related to intellectual property and policy violations.
• Use high-level judgment and critical thinking to analyze ambiguous enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support dispute resolution efforts.
• Draft clear Legal responses to articulate Amazon’s stance during mediation.
• Analyze policy/process gaps and propose effective improvements.
• Own projects to enhance operational efficiency and scale the EU Mediation program.

The Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in English and German or French, with additional European language proficiency preferred.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles.
• Demonstrates strong data analysis, communication, and project management skills.
• Proven track record in program strategy and driving results.
