Quality Improvement Program Manager - Clinical Outcomes at Amazon One Medical

As Amazon One Medical continues to provide world-class primary care services to enterprise clients, we are expanding our team dedicated to developing and implementing innovative programs that enhance health outcomes for employees. We are actively seeking a Quality Improvement Program Manager to join our growing Employer Strategic Programs team. This role is crucial for demonstrating our value proposition of delivering better health at a lower cost of care, supporting both existing client retention and future growth initiatives. You will have the unique opportunity to provide administrative and clinical quality improvement support across various clinical programs and services within the employer space, encompassing onsite, near-site, and remote care delivery models.

In this dynamic position, you will readily undertake daily tasks to drive program improvement, consistently demonstrating a proactive attitude and addressing logistical challenges. It is essential that you possess a detail-oriented mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a rapid learning ability. You will champion accountability, holding yourself and others responsible for commitments, and will integrate feedback loops into your work processes. A strong interest or background in project management and a desire for cross-functional collaboration are also key attributes for this role.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Partake in project management and standard workflow efforts for live and pilot programs for Employers, including multidisciplinary group programs, chronic condition management, and mental health programs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to these programs and effectively triage questions from patients, providers, and care teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between the central team and local teams, providing crucial feedback to continuously improve processes, communication, and collaboration.
  • Perform regular program support and coordination responsibilities, including documentation creation and management, quality improvement initiatives, data and outcomes tracking and reporting at a regular cadence, patient journey coordination, implementation support, quality assurance support, and operational workflow support.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing metrics to implement business improvements.
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare Quality/HEDIS data medical record review and abstraction.
  • 1+ years of experience in navigating and working in an electronic medical record system (e.g., Epic, 1Life, Athena).
  • 1+ years of primary healthcare or outpatient setting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of HEDIS-related improvement projects.
